About the club
How many members do you have in your club? — Over approximately 400. It’s a social club too. We have Bahrain Rugby Club 1st XV, 2nd XV, Golden Oldies (above age of 35) which I play, and it has all junior categories
Who is the usual member of your club? — 18-65 ages, mostly families, all professions, mostly British
How often do you have training sessions in the club? — 3 days a week
What kind of facilities do you use for training session? — Grass pitch, artificial pitch, gym.
What tournaments do your club participate in? — Doha Rugby 10s, Dubai 7s, and Bahrain midnight Rugby 10s, and many other tournaments in various sports, netball, Gaelic, Football, Cricket.
How do you promote your club to get new players? — Mostly word of mouth, professional recruitments.
What do you use to keep in touch with other players? — All means, emails, face book mostly.
What are your club’s financial sources? — Membership fees, sponsors, club bar and Restaurant.
